Shh…did you hear that? Something’s creeping through the brush…

It’s Abita’s Andygator with a mouthful of Strawberries!

Mmm…that sounds too delicious to run from.

A quick whiff of this delectable concoction fills our nostrils with the sweet blend of strawberries and hops.

 

 

It pours a hazy orange with a nice white head that died down before we could get a shot of it. This doppelbock is bold in flavor, sending a jolt of sweet strawberry flavor to compliment the malty goodness that we get from the Andygator. We’ve been hitting the IPAs pretty hard lately (we call it research) so didn’t get much bitterness from it.

The Strawgator is perfect for the hot, humid days that have hit the Southern States. It’s refreshing with one of our favorite flavors of summer while packing a punch with 8% ABV.

Brewed in Abita Springs, Louisiana using the pure Abita Springs water and Louisiana grown strawberries, the Strawgator is hard to find and worse, only brewed seasonally!

Do yourself a favor, if you see it, grab it before it slips out of sight.
