As American Craft Beer Week comes to a close I can’t help but reminisce about the incredible time we had at the 1stAnnual Boardroom Beach Craftathon. That’s right, this event was such a huge success the organizers are already working on making next year’s Craftathon bigger and better. They expect to have even more participation from local breweries and restaurants which means more brews, food, and music, but…more tickets there will not be my young padawan.
Over 600 tickets were sold and over 30 vendors showed up in full force. In fact, VIP tickets sold out before the marketing campaign was in full swing. With numbers like these the lines were short and the conversations with the makers of our favorite crafts were long. The controlled attendance for future festivals means there will be enough beer for everyone to sample and enough time to chat.
The organizers of the Craftathon provided more than great vendors and incredible locale, they also brought in the crawfish we all enjoyed from Louisiana when a couple of food vendors had to cancel last minute. This dedication will ensure that the Annual Boardroom Beach Craftathon will meet their expectations of being the best beer festival on the Emerald Coast.
Fans, friends, and craftmasters banded together to raise more than glasses, we helped raise over $6000 to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
We look forward to raising even more next year. Keep your eye out for tickets and buy them well in advance and remember, Obey the Hopken, Drink Good Beer!
Cheers!
